Therapies

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a hybrid therapy combining the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Regression Therapy. RTT has been developed and fine-tuned for 30 years by internationally acclaimed Hypnotherapist Marisa Peer.

RTT builds on the basis that past experiences, habits and beliefs create patterns in the subconscious mind, and that these patterns dictate our attitudes, actions and reactions. Once we understand the cause of the problem, the transformation begins.

What Makes RTT so Effective?

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) offers a combination of the most beneficial principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), psychotherapy and hypnotherapy. This mix of therapies has proven to be an effective and comfortable experience for hundreds of my clients and thousands of other RTT users as well.

How it works

The subconscious mind is our powerhouse, its holds beliefs that are harmful or helpful. Applying conscious willpower, without shifting the unconscious cause of the problem is like trying to climb a mountain with a rope strapped around you pulling you backwards. It requires exhaustive effort. We find ourselves giving up after putting in huge effort or being unable to put in the necessary effort and remain stuck and unable to move forward.

Our subconscious mind stores and remembers not only incidents but also feelings, beliefs, such as “Im not good enough”, “there is something wrong with me”, “Im unlovable” programmes, patterns and tiny details that that hold the key of current life challenges and repeating patterns.

Humans have four basic states of awareness corresponding to four identifiable brain-wave patterns:

  • Beta state (alertness, active thinking, and concentration)
  • Alpha state (relaxed alertness and light hypnosis)
  • Theta state (daydreaming, deep hypnosis, drowsiness, and light sleep)
  • Delta state (deep sleep).

We spend most of our waking hours in the beta state of alert awareness. In the beta state the mind analyses, evaluates, judges, and makes decisions. This is the state in which we attempt to overcome problems with “will power,” often unsuccessfully.

In hypnosis, the brain enters the alpha (light hypnosis) and theta (deep hypnosis) states, that makes us highly focused on hypnotic suggestions and imagery while suspending the ordinary thinking processes of the beta state. In the alpha and theta states, hypnotic suggestions are integrated into the mind more easily, and memories become more accessible.

During hypnosis, when the thinking mind quietens down, we can find the hidden patterns or beliefs, patterns and programmes, underlying the challenges, that the subconscious mind is holding. Through the process, the belief or pattern can be cleared, and the subconscious mind upgraded with new beliefs and language, in order to create the necessary freedom.

RTT is different
  • The Combination of the therapies utilized
  • RTT deals with the root cause, not the symptoms.
  • It can be completed in the comfort of your own home via Zoom. You can be on the other side of the world. It’s easy, safe and efficient. No need to spend time and money on travelling and meeting face to face or using uncomfortable therapy rooms.
  • After the session the client receives a personalised audio recording based on their issue to allow the subconscious mind to absorb the change.  The recording is around 20 minutes long and should be listened to at least once a day for 21 days. Why 21? Because 21 days is known as the minimum time for a new habit or belief to really cement in our mind.
What is Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a completely natural state of inward focus.  It is similar to the experience of a flow meditative state, just like being completely absorbed when watching a movie allowing your subconscious mind to become highly receptive to suggestions. In a hypnosis state, you are so absorbed that the critical, chattering mind is bypassed and once this has happened, old unhelpful beliefs formed at an early age can be accessed and transformed.

RTT helps you change perceptions and thoughts at the subconscious level.  Positive suggestions, like seeds, are planted in the subconscious mind. New beliefs are able to take root, typically in just 1 session but not more than 3 sessions.  RTT was designed to provide rapid relief and permanent results.  RTT uses language that sparks the imagination. The words are customized just for you. Your personal recording is essential. You will listen for 21 days at least, while the recording lays down pathways or connections between neurons.  As new pathways are strengthened, new behaviours become second nature.

With Rapid Transformational Therapy, you easily, effortlessly, and happily break free from the challenges.

What Are Some Popular Hypnosis Misconceptions?

What if I can’t be hypnotized?

Everyone can be hypnotised because it’s a natural, normal state that each of us enters at least twice each day – upon waking and falling asleep. You enter a state similar to hypnosis when daydreaming, meditating, driving on the road and arriving at your destination “automatically,” or being so deeply engrossed in a project or conversation that time seems to fly. Most of my clients go into hypnosis easily once they understand that they remain conscious and do not surrender their will.

A person under hypnosis is asleep or unconscious

This is probably the most common misconception about hypnosis. You never lose your full sense of awareness or fall asleep in hypnosis. On the contrary, you are more fully awake. All levels of hypnosis are characterised by increased attention, and it’s this heightened concentration that increases your receptivity to suggestions.

A person doesn’t remember anything that happens while under hypnosis

You’ll be aware of everything while hypnotised. Afterwards, you may have a “dreamy” feeling, similar to emerging from a deep daydream or a light nap.

A person can be hypnotised against their will

Most stage hypnotists are skilled at creating the illusion that they possess a magical and mysterious power over other people. There is, in fact, no such “power.” Hypnosis is a state of consent and cooperation. The only control the practitioner has over you is the control you allow me to have. Throughout the process, you can end it at any time.

A person surrenders their will once they go under hypnosis, and can be made to do things he or she does not want to do.

You are capable of making normal decisions at all times under hypnosis. You can’t be ‘made’ to do anything under hypnosis that you would find objectionable under normal circumstances.

A person under hypnosis might reveal his or her deepest secrets

You don’t lose control or reveal personal secrets under hypnosis unless you wish to do so.

A person can get stuck in a trance forever

This is impossible. No one has ever been stuck in a hypnotic trance. Hypnosis is a natural state that we enter and exit all of the time. There are no known dangers with hypnosis when working with a normal client.
